You are all signed up.  All you have to do now is get your family on board and be open to learning a little something new (maybe even a little something about yourselves!), trying new things, and of course, having fun in the process! We're following the outline of the the Get Real Family Project, only this time, I'm picking the actions of the week for you.  While the challenge itself lasts 4 days (4 days of new activity, I recommend you do them ALL week).  Day 1 is about the food you eat.

Topic 2- move

A wholly healthy life includes physical activity for people of ALL ages.  That's right, we all need to keep moving. Never forget, exercise is NOT just for weight loss.  It is a critical part of a healthy lifestyle and it is never too early or too late to get started!

topic 3- breathe

This is no less important than the other two topics but I'm just easing you into things.  Never underestimate the importance of taking a time out.  Whether it's a nap, quiet time, a hobby you once enjoyed or just a nice cup of coffee with a neighbor or a friend.  Taking time to unwind, relax and recharge have real health benefits. Unfortunately many of us forget how!

I will be adding one more little task on day 4, nothing major I promise!  I hope you and your family enjoy the challenge, get something out of it and have a good time in the process!  Watch for that email!
